Big dogs are viewed negatively and are subject to stereotypes. They are viewed by many as cruel and unfit to be near children. It’s time to erase the stigma associated with large breeds.
This couple considered having a dog, and at the age of just eight weeks, they adopted Drax the Cane Corso. He was already a large puppy even back then, as was normal for his breed. The couple learned they were expecting a child at about the same time.
Drax was already a protective big brother to his tiny sibling inside the belly, even during pregnancy. He would lick his mother’s belly while sitting on her lap.
They were inseparable from the minute his little brother was born.
They let Drax see the birth from a distance so he could get used to the baby’s presence. Since then, he was always by his side and a big brother to this baby.
Drax cherished spending time with the infant. He would lay next to him and watch the tiny person. They had a magnetic quality. Drax and his younger brother enjoy gazing out the window, among other things. They have done this for years!
The youngster enjoyed pointing as if to instruct Drax to look or to confirm what he had seen. Not to mention the time that Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus paid these two a visit! Once they realized who Santa was and the joy he brought to people who behaved well all year, they both became extremely excited to visit the couple.
