Travis Ochs was involved in a horrible scenario.
When wildfire threatened, Ochs did everything he could to move his pet donkey, named Ennis. However, as the flames came, he was forced to flee without Ennis and only one horse, named Adam. A ranger who had hurried out to help Ochs pushed him to make that fateful decision.
Ochs may have assumed he’d never see Ennis and Adam again, but he was mistaken.
After a sleepless night worrying about Ennis and Adam, Ochs got the wonderful news he was searching for.
Firefighters discovered the donkey and horse alive on his farm. They had suffered the fire together, which had finally resulted in the destruction of multiple buildings on Ochs’ property.
Ochs was granted permission to return, resulting in their wonderful, beautiful reunion as follows:
Fortunately, Ennis and Adam had escaped with only charred hair. Ochs did lose material possessions in the fire, but what is most important is that they survived.
