A firefighter from Belgium discovered a wounded kitten in the middle of a road and brought it home. Despite being initially told that the kitten’s injuries were severe, the firefighter didn’t give up hope and took the kitten to a vet for treatment.
As days went by, the kitten named Azmael started to recover, much to everyone’s relief. The firefighter decided to adopt Azmael and introduced him to his family, including their two large dogs. Surprisingly, Azmael quickly formed a strong bond with the dogs, who accepted him as their little brother.
Not only did Azmael win the hearts of the dogs, but he also received love and acceptance from the firefighter’s wife and other family members, including other cats. However, Azmael seemed to feel most comfortable around the German Shepherds named Nimue and Liam, considering himself a part of their pack.
Azmael would even insist on joining his dog friends on walks, and the firefighter and his wife would oblige, although they had to limit the duration of the walks due to Azmael’s playful nature and lack of fear around cars. Unlike the other cats in the household, Azmael had no fear and would vocalize his displeasure at unfamiliar dogs that bothered his canine companions.
Azmael’s unique personality brought joy to the household. He particularly enjoyed napping on Liam’s stomach, finding moments of rest in between his energetic antics. Azmael truly believed he was a dog, setting him apart from the other cats that never ventured outside on walks, ensuring they remained clean and safe.
