On February 11, 2018, a married couple named Stephen Parisi and Cathi Henn went for a hike with their three dogs. It was on this day that their 14-year-old dog, Pete, heroically saved their lives.
During the hike, Pete encountered a large bear while Stephen was trying to lead the couple’s two smaller dogs to safety. Sadly, when Stephen returned to Pete, he found the dog severely injured.
