A herd of zebras in the Serengeti Park faced the challenge of crossing a river. Led by Shani, the zebras cautiously approached the river, which had a turbulent current despite its seemingly narrow width.
To assess the feasibility of crossing, Shani bravely ventured into the water. However, she was quickly carried downstream by the powerful streams. Helplessly watching from the shore, the rest of the group, including Shani’s foal, could only observe.
Punda, the stallion, remained unwavering in his support for Shani. He galloped alongside the water’s edge, never losing sight of her, as if hoping to assist her.
Fortunately, a young and strong zebra managed to overcome the current and safely reach the other side. This courageous act served as a lesson for the herd, indicating that the challenging river crossing was too treacherous for them, especially the vulnerable foal. As a result, they sought out a more suitable location to ford the river.
