This baby seagull has not yet mastered the skill of flying but is already attempting to obtain food for itself. Instead of seeking food in the river or at the market, it decided to raid a gift shop.
The employee of the gift shop in Ohio remembers that the seagull was just a typical chick, as seagulls nest on every rooftop in her city. When the chick snuck into the store for the first time, it tried to take a stuffed pike perch but was kicked out.
Despite this, the chick kept trying, and after several attempts, it finally succeeded in snatching the toy fish. However, the store’s saleswoman was worried that the bird would try to swallow the toy, which had a stuffing of polyester inside, and a crowd of people surrounded the bird.
The seagull eventually released the toy and fled. It visited the store again several days later, hoping to repeat its success, but quickly left upon seeing the saleswoman. The saleswoman hopes that the seagull has flown away to find real fish, and for this bird, the theft marked a turning point.
