While tending to his land, a farmer stumbled upon four helpless newborn creatures.
Feeling compassion towards them, he picked them up and brought them home. However, upon closer inspection, he realized that these were not ordinary kittens. Curious about their breed, he contacted the Dauria international rescue center to seek their advice on how to care for them. It was confirmed that the tiny creatures were actually manul cubs, a rare species of wild cats.
As hunting this species is illegal, the rescue center took responsibility for caring for the cubs. They entrusted the newborns to two house cats, who accepted them as their own and took attentive care of them.
Since manul cats are considered endangered and are registered in the Red Book, the staff decided to raise the cubs as domesticated pets until they were old enough to take care of themselves. Once the cubs were ready, they would be released back into the wild.
