A heartwarming encounter took place in Colorado when a police officer came across a tiny owlet while driving on a mountain road towards Nederland. The officer’s colleague captured the precious moment on camera.
As they were driving, the officers noticed a small creature standing in the middle of the road. They stopped their car and approached the tiny ball of fluff, which turned out to be a Northern Saw-Whet owl.
The baby bird appeared confused, but one of the officers walked over and struck up a conversation with the owl. To their surprise, the little bird reacted to the officer’s voice, twisting its head in response to their questions.
The other deputy filmed the heartwarming moment between the officer and the baby owl, capturing the cute head movements every time the officer spoke.
After the conversation came to an end, the owl flew off into the nearby forest. The police officers will undoubtedly remember their special encounter with the adorable owlet.
