At the time of the incident, the automobile was traveling at a speed of close to 80 mph down the Italian highway.
Even though the road was dimly illuminated at night and there weren’t many vehicles on it, the driver kept up a full-throttle race.
He abruptly noticed a shadowy apparition speeding down the road. He hardly had a chance to respond when he heard a crash the very next instant.
The man expected the worst when he stopped the car and stepped out. But nothing or no one was in front of the automobile.
Nobody was behind the automobile or underneath the wheels. The driver didn’t notice what had happened until he put a spotlight on the bonnet of his Nissan.
He struck a large white dog. The dog became trapped below the car’s bonnet and laid down in the area behind the radiator as though it had crawled there on its own.
The motorist quickly called the hospital’s number.
Jimmy Dotty from the veterinary clinic arrived on the scene before any further assistance could be provided. The occurrence surprised him just as much as it did the driver.
After all, he has spent a lot of time assisting sick animals, but this is the first time he has ever witnessed something like this!
As he collected himself, the doctor gave the dog a sedative via injection.
The driver and he then dragged the unfortunate boy from the hood of the car and drove him to the clinic.
