There is a regular animal shelter in the Polish city of Bydgoszcz, where brave and kind individuals assist poor animals in finding a second shot at a happy life.
While some of the destitute men who arrived there require medical assistance, others are content with attention and compassion.
A cat by the name of Radamens is one of these residents of the shelter.
The shelter’s strangest resident is this cat. And it is he who truly distinguishes this sanctuary.
The truth is that Radamens assists animals during their challenging recovery after procedures in a very serious manner.
The cat’s own narrative is heartbreaking and depressing. The previous owners brought it in for euthanasia when it was just two months old.
He got to his feet and began tending to the stray animals that had found their way to the refuge. Many of them were hurt or still had surgical wounds.
Helping dogs, cats, and other animals was something the cat did without discrimination.
Even in jokes, the shelter workers referred to Radamens as a full-time nurse.
