A married couple arrived home to discover their Pomeranian soaked in water. After looking at the security footage, the couple hurried to thank the second dog for saving the clumsy Spitz who had fallen into the pool for 30 minutes.
Byron and Melissa Tanaraien’s backyard features a large, deep pool. Given that the fence is already outside of the city, the house camera is directly facing it.
Using the recording, the couple was able to recreate the events that occurred. The dog starts swimming right away and moves farther and farther away from the steps where he could exit.
Fortunately, a huge Staffordshire Terrier, the family’s second pet, was close by. He hurried to the pool and made many unsuccessful attempts to assist his pal.
The spike was later removed by the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
