Because of His Imperfections, a Disabled Puppy Is Overlooked in the Shelter

Caption Morgan, an American Staffordshire Terrier, has been known as the “ugly one” since the day he was born. Because his breeder did not respect his life. He was abandoned at a high-kill shelter in a rural area, along with his mother and siblings.

Because of his malformed right ear and absent left eye, the black and white dog at the shelter received no attention. His circumstances were severe. And unless someone showed mercy to the tiny boy, he had little prospect of being adopted.

Nicole Horabik, who oversees foster care, only had to take one look at the puppy before she knew she had to take a chance on him. She brought him home to her other rescue dogs, who also had special needs, when he was eight weeks old and started caring for him.

Nicole  had an idea that would alter how others perceived the puppy. He was accompanied by a sign that read, “I was thrown away because I wasn’t perfect,” as she shared images of him on social media. If you think I’m perfect, please share.

Soon, photographs of the lovely and deserving-of-love puppy were being shared online by animal lovers everywhere. He won the hearts of many. Soon he was adopted by a family who accepted him despite his physical flaws.
