The Alberta Animal Rescue in Canada saved a plump Golden Retriever named Kai. He weighed 173 pounds when he was discovered.
The poor dog had presumably been adored by his previous owners, who didn’t realize that they were overfeeding him.
Additionally, they neglected to take the dog for walks and monitor his physical activity. So the poor dog was 100 pounds heavier than he should have been. The dog couldn’t move and had other health issues, so it was quite horrible. Pam looked after the poor puppy and felt awful about how heavy the animal was. She made a very important decision to fight and support Kai.
She took him home and adopted him. Kai took the woman’s steps after waiting for 30 minutes. Pam started preparing a stringent diet for the dog that included lots of vegetables and little fast food and oil. She also brought her black Labrador for a walk with the dog, and it turned out that the dog really liked the walk. The dog’s energy and enthusiasm to move, jump, and play increased day by day.
After much effort, the dog eventually met the determined caregiver’s desired outcome and weighed 75 pounds. The dog was trained to be a therapy dog, and now he assists people with weight issues in overcoming them and achieving their goals just like he did.
