A lion typically has negative feelings towards its young cubs. However, the adorable video below shows a guy getting ready to meet his cub for the first time. The Denver Zoo is where the lovely video was shot. Daily-cuteness reports that after sharing it on Facebook, the entire network melted.
The 12-kilogram cub was born at the zoo on July 31 and has since solely spent time with his mother.
The zoo keepers determined that it was now appropriate for the baby to meet its family. And a video of him finally meeting his father after two years was posted online. The lion cub will soon be prepared to make his first public debut, according to the Denver Zoo.
Recently, he lived with his mother, father, and step-sister. He’s now behind the scenes in the Denver Zoo’s lion facility, but soon he’ll be in one of the outside habitats, “the Denver Zoo’s Jake Kubié, who oversees communications, told Bored Panda. He is everything you would anticipate from a cub. He is energetic, playful, and full of curiosity. Denver people are familiar with the youngster’s parents, Neliah and Tobias, but the cub is still without a name.
Thus, the zoo is requesting suggestions from the public for a name for him. The names that are available, according to Bored Panda, include Meru, which is the name of a mountain in Tanzania. Moremi, the name of a natural reserve in Botswana, is an additional choice. Or Tatu, the Swahili term for three, since the lion cub is the third kid of the lioness. Everyone is encouraged to vote and donate $1 to the three finalists, according to the zoo.
