Recently, the Brazilian restaurant where Roseilson Melo works was ready to deliver dishes that had been ordered. Melo took his motorcycle to the house after wrapping the food and placing it in his thermal bag.
After knocking on the customer’s door, an unexpected thing occurred: the lunch mysteriously vanished.
The owner of the restaurant said “The customer could not believe that the dinner was gone.”
The delivery man arrived back at this location bewildered and confused about what to do.
Unexpectedly, a neighborhood dog also arrived as Melo approached the house. The dog also witnessed a bag of food fall from Melo’s backpack as he turned his back. It offered a chance that seemed too good to pass up. She now owned the meal.
Fortunately, Melo had no ill will toward the stealing dog after some initial bewilderment. The two even met up for a more cordial introduction later.
The dog was simply applying standard dog reasoning, which holds that nice food on the ground is equivalent to tasty food on the table, even though she didn’t pay for the meal.
