In Heidelberg West, Australia, two local police officers were driving about when they noticed something odd. It was a puppy having fun riding around in a tiny car.
Officer Lynda Giblett told the Herald Sun, “We couldn’t believe our eyes. Of course we had to stop and check it out.”
The cute little furry driver was caught. His offense?
The police wrote, “Caught driving under the influence of cuteness.”
It was clear that the dog wasn’t driving the car by himself. He had the car under control, and his owner was right behind him. It came out that the dog was out and about without permission for a very good cause.
Buddy, the senior dog, is both blind and deaf. His owner gave him the car so he could keep going on walks with her and breathing in the fresh air.
Buddy now performs it gracefully.
Buddy apparently convinced the police that he could get away with just a warning since he was so adorable.
It really made our day better, Giblett continued.
