The Rabbit, the Size of a Dog, Seeks a Lover Who Will Love Her Utterly

In response to a tip that several rabbits were not being properly cared for, the RSPCA sent out a team of investigators to investigate. They arrived found the 47 rabbits were Flemish giants. It meant that several of them were very gigantic, and they were kept in cramped, claustrophobic, and filthy conditions.

The largest of the pack, which the RSPCA described as being roughly the size of a medium-sized dog, weighed about 18 pounds. The bunnies were being housed in cages that were way too small for them.

Trevor Walker, an inspector with the RSPCA, said, “These poor bunnies were living in crowded and unsanitary conditions.” Fortunately they are all healthy. After they’ve had some time to settle in and decompress, they will all be offered for adoption.

Walker hoped that they would “find loving homes.” They have an excellent temperament, so they will make good companion animals.

some of the bunnies are bigger than most people might think. But they are sure to become wonderful additions to a lot of fortunate households with the right study and care. These sweet giants are looking for their everlasting homes and are in need of love.
