The Missouri-based dog rescue organization Mac’s Mission has located several puppies and older dogs. None of them have garnered as much attention online as “Narwhal the Little Magical Furry Unicorn,” a 10-week-old puppy.

According to Mac’s Mission, hundreds of dogs have been abandoned in rural Missouri. On November 8, he and another older dog were discovered together, having been “dumped in rural Missouri.”

The cute face of the narwhal was hard to ignore at first. The fact that Narwhal is imperfect in a conventional sense makes him ideal for Mac’s project. The animal shelter concentrates on a particular breed of dog: “the homeless ‘janky’ dogs who would die if they didn’t have us.”
Although we wouldn’t describe Narwhal as a jerk, the extra tail could have been the cause of his being abandoned. He had a foot injury. He also entered because he was injured.
To get some X-rays done, he visited the veterinarian. According to the vet, the tail wasn’t connected to anything and shouldn’t hinder Narwhal in any way. According to Mac’s Mission, “He doesn’t get hurt and plays for hours.” He is now “the COOLEST puppy ever” as a result.
