Carrie Long received a complaint last year about a baby racoon who needed help. At the age of just three weeks after his mother had abandoned him, he was discovered clinging to life in a deluge.
Long decided to adopt the racoon for Texas Fawn and Friends, an organisation dedicated to preserving orphaned deer. The woman had given him the name Jasper. Jasper, who has grown up and is now capable of supporting himself on his own, has decided to remain a resident of Long’s deer refuge. Currently, he coexists happily with the 75 orphaned deer that Texas Fawn and Friends care for throughout the large region, but there is one that has unmistakably won his heart.
She goes by Hope. Additionally, she lost her mother when she was a child. Jasper, though, ensures that she never feels alone. TEXAS FAWN AND FRIENDS was the photographer.
Long stated, “Jasper just adores her.” He rushes to lick and cuddle her as soon as he spots her. Simply put, it’s adorable. Jasper and Hope are doing well. All of it is done on their terms.
