A playful elephant scales a five-foot wall to grab mangoes

Elephants are not particularly known for their agility, despite the fact that they are thought to be quite intelligent animals. However, recent video shows that even the largest land mammals on Earth can move rapidly. The visitors at the Mfuwe Lodge in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park have seen something amazing and hysterical. An adult elephant carefully scaled a 5 foot wall to take some mangoes from the safari resort.

The giant’s visit wasn’t overlooked despite its skillful maneuvers. “He just selected the most direct path and made himself perfectly at home,” said Ian Salisbury, general manager of Mfuwe Lodge, to the DailyMail. “The thought of an elephant climbing thrilled the guests to no end.

He wanted to look into it. The unexpected guest arrived a bit later because he wanted to enter the center where this large mango tree blooms. All of the guests found it amusing when the elephant entered the park.

When he arrived, he stretched out, took a few moments to look around, and ate some grass before making an unexpected turn and leaving the same way, which Ian found hilarious. He climbed this tall wall because it was the quickest route there. An elephant climbing so high is a highly unusual action.
