Barbra Streisand says she ‘can’t live in this country’ if this happens

Barbra Streisand, a prominent figure in Hollywood, recently stirred controversy with her online defense of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Streisand asserted that Willis is being unfairly targeted by conservatives who are using her personal life to undermine her professional credibility.

In a post on X, Streisand claimed that Willis’s only “offense” was her desire for a personal relationship with Nathan Wade, the assistant attorney she hired to investigate Trump and the eighteen other defendants accused of racketeering related to Georgia’s 2020 election results.

“How ridiculous it is for Republicans to want to fire Fani Willis. For what reason? Believing that a woman can’t have a private life alongside her career? Men do it all the time! How absurd is this?” Streisand said on Monday.

She continued, “Trump and his supporters are attacking Willis, the DA prosecuting him for attempting to overturn the will of Georgia’s voters. She happens to have a close relationship with one of the prosecutors in her personal life. This has nothing to do with the facts of the case or Trump’s blatant attempt to pressure the Secretary of State to ‘find’ more votes and present fake electors to Congress. It’s just another one of Trump’s distractions.”
