Barbra Streisand says she ‘can’t live in this country’ if this happens

Barbra Streisand, a mainstay of the Hollywood elite, recently went too far in her online defense of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Streisand claimed that Willis was the target of a conservative scheme to discredit her by using her personal life against her public role.

In a post on X, Streisand stated that Willis’s only “crime” was seeking a personal connection with Nathan Wade, the assistant attorney she hired to investigate Trump and the eighteen other defendants charged with racketeering related to Georgia’s 2020 election results.

“How absurd it is for the Republicans to want to fire Fani Willis. For what purpose? Believing that a woman cannot lead a private life in addition to a career? Men do it all the time! How ridiculous is this situation?” said Streisand on Monday.

“Trump and his supporters are attacking Willis, the DA, who is bringing charges against him for trying to overturn Georgia’s election results. She is privately close to one of the prosecutors. This has nothing to do with the case’s facts or Trump’s blatant attempt to force the Secretary of State to ‘find’ additional votes for him and present fake electors to Congress. It’s just another one of Trump’s distractions,” she continued.
