Three years ago, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made the decision to pursue financial independence.
They chose to step down from their roles as senior members of the royal family and relocate to the United States to build their own livelihoods.
Interestingly, following their departure, the couple expressed disappointment in the lack of financial support from their relatives during an interview. Prince Harry even mentioned having to use funds from his late mother’s inheritance.
However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex swiftly found their footing through a series of highly successful ventures.
For instance, Meghan signed a lucrative deal with Spotify, releasing a collection of podcasts. Meanwhile, Harry secured a substantial fee for his memoir, “Spare.”
They also collaborated on a documentary for Netflix.
Nevertheless, it appears that the couple has not yet achieved the level of financial prosperity they initially aspired to.
Recently, journalists discovered that Meghan has an intriguing plan to further expand her revenue streams. This plan seems to follow in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow, though it may not sit well with her.
According to reports from The Mirror, Meghan has already filed documents with the US Trademark and Patent Office, indicating her intention to revive her previous lifestyle blog, The Tig. She ran the blog for three years prior to meeting Prince Harry.
It is only logical that Markle aims to achieve similar results. The blog’s launch is expected to take place this week, according to the reporters’ findings.
