Yu Zhenhan, the Chinese man who gained recognition in the Guinness Book of Records as the hairiest person on Earth, has finally discovered love.
Born in 1979 in Anshan, China, Yu’s body was almost completely covered in hair by the age of two. By three, his body hair had reached 96% coverage.
During his school days, Yu has affectionately nicknamed King Kong due to his unique appearance. However, he never took offense and embraced the name, explaining that it was a reflection of his big heart and thick hair.
Despite multiple attempts at laser hair removal, which provided only temporary relief, Yu decided to shift his focus towards his personal life.
After unsuccessful experiences with online dating, Yu deleted his profile and turned his attention to his passion for music. He achieved significant success, appearing on various Chinese television shows and gaining popularity in his country.
Eventually, Yu found love with a girl whom he had been friends with since school. They reconnected at a mutual friend’s birthday party and realized that happiness had been in close proximity all along.
Yu now enjoys a fulfilling personal life and continues to share his journey with over 600,000 followers on social media, where he is affectionately known as “The Hairy Chinese Kid” by his fellow citizens.
