The highly publicized wedding of Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham, which took place last spring, triggered a media frenzy.
Little did the journalists know that even more intriguing events were about to unfold following the nuptials.
Rumors began to circulate online, suggesting a significant dislike between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, and there were valid reasons behind those speculations.
To begin with, Nicola mentioned in an interview that she initially planned to wear a dress designed by her mother-in-law for her walk down the aisle. However, in the end, the decision was made for the gown to be crafted by other designers.
Furthermore, both celebrities appeared to ignore each other on social media.
Understandably, many assumed there was a conflict brewing between Victoria and Nicola. However, Peltz-Beckham has now set the record straight in a recent interview with The Times.
” There are no perfect families,” emphasized Nicola, clarifying that there was indeed some misunderstanding between them.
“But this is not animosity! I see this word all the time when people talk about us – ‘animosity, animosity, animosity…’ It felt like I would go crazy if I continued to pay attention to this,” Peltz-Beckham explained, shedding light on why she hadn’t previously addressed the conflict with her mother-in-law.
She also recollected the incident involving the wedding dress.
“I believe it all started from there. Yes, I didn’t wear Victoria’s wedding dress on my special day. The honest truth is that I truly desired to wear it. I have no doubt that Victoria would have created the perfect ensemble for me, and I would have been incredibly pleased. But it simply wasn’t meant to be,” Nicola acknowledged.
