Tristan Weigelt, originally from the USA, led an ordinary life without any notable distinctions. However, he made a life-altering decision one day to completely transform his life and relocate to Copenhagen.
Not only did he choose to change his place of residence, but he also pursued a career as a tattoo artist.
In Denmark, Tristan received training from some of the best masters in the field. During this time, he became increasingly fascinated with tattoos and went to great lengths to cover 95% of his body in ink.
Numerous tattoo artists contributed to his extensive body art, which required a total of 260 hours and cost him $54,000.
Tristan’s tattoo style is inspired by traditional Japanese designs, with intricate scales covering most of his body. However, his hands, feet, neck, and head remain untouched, resembling a traditional Japanese costume.
His commitment to tattoos is unwavering, as Tristan plans to fill in any remaining gaps on his skin with more ink.
Although Tristan’s parents were not supportive of his choice and continue to urge him to have his tattoos removed, he recently posted a photo revealing his face without any ink, aiming to please them. However, the unconventional method did not achieve the desired effect and instead garnered criticism.
His followers also expressed disappointment, questioning how he could alter such a striking appearance. Many commented on his previous Hollywood-handsome looks. While his tattooed image is equally captivating, they believed that his face should not be covered in patterns. Nevertheless, Tristan holds a different perspective.
Unconcerned about others’ opinions, he firmly believes that one should not worry about the meaning of tattoos or how they are perceived by others. His advice to everyone is simple: if you like it, go ahead and get it done!
