Nicole Kidman Made a Striking Appearance at the Met Gala by Wearing an Iconic Dress That She Had Previously Worn 19 Years Ago, Which Has Been Dubbed Her “Magic Outfit.”

The Met Gala paid tribute to the iconic fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away in 2019, and many celebrities, including Nicole Kidman, wore Chanel outfits in honor of the couturier.

Kidman, who posed for photographers in a powder-pink gown with rhinestone and ostrich feather embellishments, was among the celebrities who appeared to be dressed as brides that night. However, the actress stole the show by wearing a gown that she had previously worn 19 years ago, which she had starred in for a Chanel No. 5 perfume commercial directed by Baz Luhrmann.

Kidman accessorized the gown with loose hair tied with a black ribbon, matching sandals, and statement earrings. Her husband, Keith Urban, was also elegantly dressed in a black tailcoat and white shirt.

After the event, Kidman expressed her appreciation for the memories and received compliments from fans, who praised her for paying homage to Lagerfeld and looking like a fairy tale in her “magical outfit.”
