Canberrans came to the aid of the kangaroo, who was stuck in the water.
The cold had made the animal numb, and it was unable to reach the beach by itself. Two men sprang to his defense.
Experts warn that the scenario is extremely dangerous, especially for people. Kangaroos are large, robust creatures that have the ability to deal crushing strikes with their strong paws when under duress.
Fortunately, this time, the men were able to restrain the unfortunate swimmer and drag him ashore.
Though it was sarcastically referred to as “thanks,” the kangaroo there just extended its paw in response to its rescuers.
The anxious animal soon relaxed after being rescued. As nothing had occurred to him, the kangaroo returned to its natural setting.
Even though it might appear unusual, kangaroos frequently dive into the water.
The cause is the same: under stress, kangaroos seek out water bodies because they are protected there from harmful situations.
The same animal was also dug out of the same lake by the police twice in the fall of 2019 because it jumped back even while it was on land.
