The most typical teacher at one of the American schools is Kristen Williams. Though Kristen never had her own family, she has always had a deep passion for kids.
Kristen made the decision to adopt after considerable thought. She desired to shower a youngster in need with her remaining mother’s affection.
Munni, a child adopted from India, was Kristen’s first child.
Due to the girl’s severe forehead scar, they were reluctant to take her. Munni avoided interacting with people and felt awkward doing so.
However, Kristen was able to win the girl over. And eventually, a young Durga joined their family.
The Durga legend is a tragic one. The infant was discovered in a dump. She had to have stayed there for a while. The child had a severe condition on her face.
Due to insects and stray animals, which the newborn baby was entirely defenseless against, Durga almost lost her nose.
The tale of Kristen and her two adoptive girls first appeared on television and then in social media. Kristen received a service offer from the local hospital’s plastic surgeons after learning about the girls’ issues.
After undergoing reconstructive surgery, Munni just has a barely detectable, tiny line on her forehead.
The decision was made to operate on Durga when she was older. The girl was given an aesthetic prosthesis, however, so that she would not stand out from her peers for the time being.
The girls’ beaming smiles and newfound sparkle in their eyes, though, may be the most significant change.
