Brave toddler agrees to sing national anthem before crowd, only to have 6,000 people on their feet

I have always loved theater, so I think it takes a lot of confidence to go on stage and sing and act. Adults need to practice and train for years to reach a level where they can easily act, sing, and dance on stage.

The child performer you will see is a 3-year-old boy, probably the youngest-looking performer of the national anthem I have ever seen. He is not a saint. He has won so many hearts with his talent that the video of him singing has already garnered nearly half a million views.

Drake Winslow, 3, is the youngest player ever to sing the national anthem at a game in Syracuse, New York, on a school day. The confident young performer delivered a flawless performance in front of a crowd of 6,000. His outstanding performance earned him a standing ovation.

Drake’s mother Chelsea stood behind him during his performance and said, “I think he’s too young to understand how important it is.” We try not to bring it up too often and try to be calm about it. We don’t ask him if he’s feeling anxious. Maybe he won’t think about it after that. He still doesn’t understand what nervousness is.

His mother said that her adorable son loves to sing at home, but his favorite song has always been the Star Spangled Banner. Tip Hero said he’s looking forward to singing the song again now. Check out Drake’s amazing performance in the video below. He is such a sweet little guy. I hope he continues to do what he loves because he brings so much joy to so many people.
