Actress and comedian Roseanne Barr made a significant lifestyle change when she relocated to her macadamia nut farm in Hawaii, embracing a healthier way of living. As part of this shift, she also decided to adopt a more plant-based diet. Along with her longtime partner, Johnny Argen, Barr has been enjoying a peaceful life on her 46-acre property.
Barr purchased the 2,212-square-foot Hawaiian retreat in 2007 for $1.78 million. The property offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the lush, green surroundings, making it an ideal sanctuary in her later years. The house, which includes three bedrooms and three and a half baths, has served as a tranquil haven for Barr.
One of the joys of her new lifestyle is spending time with her granddaughters on the farm. She once shared a heartwarming photo of herself and her granddaughters walking across a large grassy field, capturing a tender moment between grandmother and grandchildren. Fans, while appreciating the sweet scene, couldn’t help but notice the contrast between the legendary comedian they remember and the doting grandmother she has become.
Barr also shared a candid glimpse into her life when she posted a picture of herself sound asleep among boxes, clothes, and a laptop. The photo prompted mixed reactions from her followers. Some joked about it, with one user captioning it, “Shop till you drop,” while another suggested, “Fire your housekeeper!!!!” However, another user disagreed, saying, “No, she doesn’t need to fire her housekeeper. She’s the one causing all the mess! It’s so sad to see her like this! So very sad!”
Another commenter remarked, “Love Roseanne, but I thought I was looking at a homeless camp [illegal substance] addict who passed out.” Despite these harsh comments, it’s clear that Roseanne remains beloved for her comedy and authenticity, whether she’s enjoying farm life or sharing personal moments online.
